Community Education

A community education goal, under the leadership of the Fire Marshal, is to educate the public on fire prevention and safety, as well as other injury prevention education. Much of the efforts performed in the area of community education is done through programs such as fire safety presentation to adults and children. Events such as Fire Prevention week is a prime example of how Lower Valley Fire District is striving to fulfill this requirement. We believe by fulfilling these duties we can provide a safe, sustainable community. The fire prevention program provides the community with educational programs, which can be designed to address the fire safety needs of the audience. Fire station tours are arranged for all ages, including preschools. Fire department personnel are always eager to give presentations to professional and civic organization if requested.
